No. They’re gone.

Unless you don’t get a new anti-virus, in which case they or others may arrive.

Hope that helps.

    Absolutely not.

Be Sure to empty Quarantine files of your antivirus

No, any malware that you have previously deleted will stay deleted.

For your anti-virus needs, I would suggest Avira AntiVirĀ® PersonalEdition Classic. It has excellent heuristics, a virus detection rate that is better than most “paid-for” anti-virus programs and is light on using your computer’s resources. Uses less then 10 MB RAM on my machine. And did I mention that it’s free!

    Download here:

BTW, Avoid the free version of an anti-virus called AVG, it is wildly popular, but it has horrible virus detection capibilities.

    Enjoy!

No. If viruses are in quarantine when you delete it your virus software should delete them or tell you what to do about them

Well hopefully you are upgrading to a newer version.
Where ever the viruses came from (and in many cases they just float on the internet “in the wild”)and they will find your unprotected computer and access it again. Those viruses and a host of “new ones”. Even a free antivirus program is better than none at all monitoring 24/7 like AVG or AVAST or AntiVir
