Spybot Search and Destroy will do that, probably when you immunise. It also adds a long list (and I mean L-O-O-O-N-G list) to your Hosts file.

There is no standard antivirus offered. It depends on the manufacturer.
My advice is to avoid Norton and McAfee because they are both terrible resource hogs. It is likely to be one of those two that you get with a new netbook.
Suggest you pay out a small amount of $ $ for a good, lightweight AV like NOD32 from http://www.eset.com

You may be infected. I experienced this before. To re-enable Antivirus Website Access for a short period of time,
1. Right Click My Computer.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click Hardware.
4. Click Device Manager.
5. Click Non Plug and Play Drivers. (if you can’t see it, click show hidden devices.)
6. Click on tdsserv.sys (or close enough)
7. Disable it.
8. Reboot.
9. Download an antivirus.
